I went to Mostar in Bosnia last week. It’s a beautiful place, and hard to believe what happened there so recently. A good reminder is an exhibition of photos from the war by the New Zealander Wade Goddard, in a room above the famous bridge – more here. They’re incredibly moving, even by the standards of most war photography. Anyway, above is one of my photos of Mostar today, in better times.
